Victoria’s impact has been recognized through the 2025 Pride in Every Step selection as the City of St. Catharines’ featured Pride Poet, Brock University’s Student Justice Changemaker Award, and the 2026 Jonathon Crawford Unity Award, which honours a selected 2SLGBTQ+ individual whose work has created a meaningful impact through the arts. She has also shared her work at City Hall, spoken publicly about queer and marginalized representation, and participated in radio and newspaper interviews advocating for inclusive arts communities.

My work is grounded in community involvement, equity, accountability, and accessibility, with a strong commitment to supporting queer, disabled, and otherwise marginalized people within the arts and beyond. As a queer and disabled creative individual, myself, I understand how often talent is overlooked when systems are not designed for everyone. I am dedicated to creating safer, more inclusive community spaces that value lived experience and meaningful collaboration, while also building sustainable career opportunities for like-minded artists, writers, and cultural workers. Through this work, I aim to contribute to the expansion of a vibrant Niagara arts scene where people are empowered to thrive together.
